2004 Las Vegas
Day
Two was suppose to be a short 100 mile day as we were going to the Supercross
in Vegas that night. So we headed south out of Shoshone down towards Tecopa.
We then cut east along the Kingston Range and cut up into the hills to check
out a mine. On the way to the mine we came across a bunch of old (1940-1950’s)
cars that were all piled up. It reminded me of a demolition derby. From there
we took another little side trip were I almost got us lost, but wiser minds
prevailed and we found the correct trail which lead us back on the correct
route. From there we kept heading west until we caught Hwy 161 for a short
ride to our favorite pole line road into Vegas.
